Did anyone figure out a way to truly disable Advance Trac?? It's so annoying and really makes me miss my old 6.0 that I could drift like something on Fast and Furious.

The button doesn't work on mine. I can hold it down until it says Advance Trac disabled and soon as I try to do a burnout or donut it kills the engine power and the traction light blinks. Makes me so mad. The truck obviously has enough power factory to do a donut but with all these damn computers, it can't.

Intercept the abs wire to the front drivers side tire, wire it to a normally CLOSED relay and use an upfitter to power ON the relay to OPEN the circuit, essentially disconnecting that abs sensor.
No company in their right mind would make this as a kit for liability and lawsuit issues.

Do you know anybody who has done this that might could show some pics?? I hate to "rig" up a truck this nice but I've GOT to do something about it.

negative. i'm just giving you the electrical side of things. it's nothing hard. radioshack will have everything you'd need. you'll have to source the plugs if you want to make it PnP and look factory and be easily reversible.

I guess I'm old but I don't get it. You don't want to "rig up a truck this nice" but you want to "drift like something on fast and furious" and do donuts.

Isn't that a bit contradictory?

Sounds like you are old. I bought the truck because it had 800lb-ft of torque and I want to be able to do as I please with that torque without some computer that an engineer thinks needs to be shut down every chance a tire slips. Some people can handle trucks with power, others can't.

Then why are you worried about a little cut and splice and a switch install?

My truck isn't tuned yet. Set it back to stock and try it. The computers stop the fun right before it begins. I'm guessing there's some tables that are changed once the truck is tuned because I have seen several 6.7's do a donut with tunes and deleted only.

i could flip a bitch and do a brake stand burnout in my bone stock 6.7 with advanced Trac control off with zero issues.. even better now that its tuned.

Brake stands are easy. It's when you try whipping the truck sideways people have problems. Sometime I could do it with only the traction control off, and sometimes it wouldn't let me even get close. So I just wired a relay to my front tire sensor and power it with one of my factory Aux switches like someone talked about earlier. Works perfect!!

Did you basically cut the wheel speed sensor wire in half and run it through the normally closed pins on the relay?
