Truck is moving very slow... I am pretty sure we are not going to meet our goal of racing this april

We are waiting on pistons to get coated and finish up machine work. Heads are getting ported. Exhaust manifolds are hopefully getting close.

Andy Warren fully built Tranny showed up. Quad disc DPC converter. Should be good for upwards of 1000hp. Andy convinced me to go with a 2000 stall... because I will be running a 68mm KC stage 3 vgt for a while. I am afraid I am gonna need a 2200 or 2400 by the end of this project.

Hope you like it bud. The good thing is you can always pull it out and phil will re stall it for you. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

Thanks man. Ya Andy said they will restall it. It should be perfect with the 68mm.

The tranny is a work of art. It looks awesome!!!

I am also still procrastinating buying a cam... I have been trying to get a hold of Tadd at elite... if anyone knows him then tell him to call me back

I bet if you call up RCD they'll talk to you. They have several cam packages ready to rock. After all of the trouble I have read about with Elite on here, I can't imagine ever doing business with them. That's in no way a knock on the products they make either.

That was disappointing. I was ready for some serious retaliation :swordfight:


In all seriousness I have no room to talk. I have never laid down good times at the track on my personal truck. I have lots of customers... but never done anything myself. I appreciate all the help and advice from the guys that have spent years racing/learning themselves.

I think everyone likes cock munchers as long as they don't use their teeth.
Hopefully by the end of the year I am able to get some numbers with a KC and some 205's with spray. Spray it stock till it breaks and upgrade from there.

Just curious why you went DPC instead of PI. My warren came with a PI. Was it just your choice or did Andy switch?

My previous Andy Warren tranny had a PI converter in it and I was happy with it. I am not exactly sure why they switched. I told him about my goals and he said this was the best converter to go with.
