Yea I tried all that stuff, backing up, going forward, put it in neutral stepping on the brake and switching from 4lo to 4 hi and 2w. Nothing has worked yet. I hear you on the old and stiff stuff. Thought I broke my thumb when I popped the front drive shaft out so I could drive home. Fun times.

2002 F350, put it in 4 high to run some brush down to the burn pile in the pasture. Now it wont disengage. Did a search but didn't come up with anything. What should I start trouble shooting? What would cause it to not unlock? Any where I can read up on how to trouble shoot this problem? Thanks,
