Yea I tried all that stuff, backing up, going forward, put it in neutral stepping on the brake and switching from 4lo to 4 hi and 2w. Nothing has worked yet. I hear you on the old and stiff stuff. Thought I broke my thumb when I popped the front drive shaft out so I could drive home. Fun times.

2002 F350, put it in 4 high to run some brush down to the burn pile in the pasture. Now it wont disengage. Did a search but didn't come up with anything. What should I start trouble shooting? What would cause it to not unlock? Any where I can read up on how to trouble shoot this problem? Thanks,

OK so I'm getting older but what's the trick to getting the fuel tank coller back on? Had the tank out on my old 2000 several times and had no problems getting it back together. For some reason on this truck it want's to cross thread every time. Any idea's? Thanks

With the clay I used enough to fill the entire port opening to above the top of the hard block fill. I didn't want to cut down on water flow anywhere. I didn't have any hard block flow out of the ports once filled with clay.

I used clay wrapped in plastic food wrap when I filled my block to keep the water ports and oil cooler port open. It was easy to shape it for flow, easy to remove after the hard block cured, just left plastic sticking out to pull it out with. A little work with a die grinder on the hard block to...
