This happens with every new truck. You just have to give the coders time to build a graphical interface so we, or a tuner can manipulate the tune. Like the difference between running dos and windows. I would guess... Vehicle software protocols are standardized with SAE.
Just download the program off their site and buy a obdlink mx off amazon? I guess for $80 Incan go wrong. Will forscan allow me to use their program while the truck is tuned?
im going to ****** the new truck day one, like i did the 13. So when i go pick it up i was just going to have the dealer program all the body control stuff then.
I just ordered a 2017 F350 dually 6.7, getting rid of my 2013 6.7. I have police mode enabled so none of the lights turn on when I unlock it, or open one of the doors. Does anyone know if this is available on the 17s with IDS, or does anyone have info on what else IDS can do on the 17 super duty?
Bypass the abs pump ports if u dont want any dash lights. Or unplug a front wheel sensor to quickly disable abs for off road needs, you will get a warning on the dash this way.
I just change the values under "0" torque. VGT learning seems to force the exhaust vanes into the position needed for what the boost pressure map is calling for. Fyi all of my eom0 and eom3 maps are completely different than H&S and stock for my tune.
The only way i have found to gain heat at idle is to ramp up the vane maps to keep the exhaust vanes closed more at no load and at whatever rpm u want. Problem is that it caused erratic boost at low load and rpm for me. Ive turned on "VGT learning" and set the temps to come on only at low...
Anyone running more than h&s pw? I ramped up the last portion of the pw table by 150. It maintains rail pressure around town. I havent been able to do any long pulls in 4th or 5th gear though.
