Where is the panel /defrost vacuum control motor located?

This actuator can be found behind the stereo. If you had to change it you would likely pull off as much of the lower dash as you could. So I pulled my stereo out again and started pulling out all the extra wire and cables that were bunched up and placed back there. It turned out that my...

Where is the panel /defrost vacuum control motor located?

Hey everyone, I have the opposite of the classic problem of the climate control only blowing out the defrost vents on my truck. I can get air to blow to all locations except the defrost vents. I have done most of the pinpoint tests from the Ford workshop manual. I need to check on the...

    Firestone R4Tech Review

Hey Me2 What type of truck is that on? Looks like this was an actual bag only suspension system. I am thinking that I will run it for now with no limit straps and see how it goes. Sent an email to Firestone: I purchased a R4Tech kit from Fort Garry Industries here in Calgary. I installed...

    Firestone R4Tech Review

True but usually it is for a specific task like exhaust or something. But for tire rotations and things like that I would like to not have to unhook everything. I will look into it further.

    Firestone R4Tech Review

I guess I will have to unbolt the bags every time or look for limit straps at the local off-road shop. Pictures will be coming soon, anything in particular you would like to see.

    Firestone R4Tech Review

It is still bouncy but better in the loaded state. I had Rancho RS9000xl's on the back as well but I could not be bothered to constantly crawl under the truck everytime I went from loaded with the trailer to empty truck. The front shocks are easy to adjust but the back was a pain. I would...

    Firestone R4Tech Review

The ride... Once I got it on the ground, everything was pressured up and leveled I took it for a spin. This was Friday morning, one week after I started and just a few hours before we needed to leave town for vacation. My wife was not very happy with me. I crossed my fingers as I left the...

    Firestone R4Tech Review

Hey everyone, fairly new to this site but I see some familiar names on the posts and a lot of good information. Saw a similiar post in the PX but that was a lot of pictures about an install on a Chev and then a few pics about an install on a dually. I purchased and installed a R4Tech kit for...

    FireStone R4 Air Ride Kits....

Here is my clearance to from my exhaust to the air bag. Here is what I was saying about the lower bag mount interference with the sway bar. I painted it black after I cut about an inch of metal of the front of it.

    FireStone R4 Air Ride Kits....

I just bought one of these kits and figured I could install it over the weekend. Well I ran into a couple of problems and most of the weekend was spent tearing the old stuff out. I will try to post some photos tonight. Couple of questions, How much clearance did the exhaust have with the...

    FICM is toast, I think?

Hey everyone, I have attached a short log that I pulled off my truck today from my Dashboss. There are four lines on it, See the legend on the right hand side of the chart.
