The crazy thing is that in my experience, the better all those points are refined, the more power it will make and the faster it will go. Smooth transistions feed fuel into the cylinder at a rate that it will burn. A harsh ramp for instance will put the fire out for a second. On the DJ this...

There is boost vs MFD, but that would not make the truck hot, just the opposite, it's like pulling your foot off the pedal. What makes the truck hot is a pw to icp ratio that's too high.

I should add..... I HIGHLY recommend getting the ICP vs RPM FLAT! Only down near idle should this have to curve a little to accommodate idle icp without having the truck surge away as you come off idle. Keep the ICP as flat as possible as you climb in rpm and handle the acceleration vs pedal...

I don't know if all the templates use the same function names, but you need to visit what on my templates would be fuel injector pulsewidth. If you "load memory" for the file you want to change and then the resdef, then re-up and immediately "load memory" on the stock file or whatever file you...

I ran a 300/300. My favorite injector to date, although I never got a chance to dial the 4/4's because my platform took an electrical sh*t on me. The 3 hundos went 644 uncorrected dynojet on fuel at 3400+rpm. Pulled over 600rwhp beyond 130mph. It was a street killer.

    38R and billet compressor wheel

The Noise, lol. I just realized the type and brand injector the OP is running, so I find myself most likely in an area where the experiences I have will not apply. Sorry for the inadvertent intrusion.

    38R and billet compressor wheel

I've been running 300/200's on a stock 17* pump for a year or so now and my WOT ICP is the commanded 3000 I'm asking for 24/7 when it's not 3100 to 3200 or so on a spike. Never below 3000. Usually 3100 or thereabouts. Power isn't anything spectacular, it still has a stock trans but I would...

I look at it like this.... You can go round and round and come up with nothing by trying to "learn how to tune", or, you can solve an actual problem and very quickly learn how to tune without even trying. As an example.... if you're going to move into a new place, you can either spin your...

With 2 young kids, time is a non commodity for me at present, lol. Regardless, any questions you have will almost certainly be the exact same ones that others have, so ask them and me and anyone else can chime in and try to help get you pointed in the right direction. Really the only...

    Possible cracked block?

Now that makes sense. I've never messed with an OBS turbo. On a superduty you don't even take the charger off the truck. Just yank the CAC tube out of the way, snip the offending rod off and tap, tap, tap the plug in, lol. Go on about your business minus the puddle. File the "metal...

Should last fine. At 550wheel I never had an issue. And I used the power, unlike some.

    Possible cracked block?

What ever happened to the good ole days of pulling the rod out as far as it will come, bolt cutters, the rest snaps back in, tap the thing for 1/4 pipe IIRC and crank a plug in it? 5 minutes, tops. Isn't that what you're trying to accomplish? No more leak around the epbv rod?

Everything. Input shaft, converter hub, OD planet and clutches were always good and beat up, so it's not like line was crazy high and clutches weren't getting their share, lol. If the line was any lower the clutches would just smoke in no time. A trans of that size can only shift under that...

I don't ever miss that..... I ALWAYS miss that..... EVERY single time I roll off a stoplight and just want to roll on, hear that light, low whistle starting up before it cracks off and what looks like pressurized smoke starts billowing out of the rear wheelwells while the boost gauge sits on...

Smog tests don't require a minimum power output right??? Just pull the pw out so the truck doesn't even need a turbo. I could have a 7.3 running around with the turbo sitting on the bench at the shop no problem. It would probably only be making 200hp, but it would drive around without...

When you can do a 20-30mph roll-on and obliterate the tires for a hundred feet or so, that's when you've made it to the "fun" stage. First time I did a full power roll on with 200 nozzles my red truck came on boost and when the 47 lit off at about 30mph the truck bleeeeeew the tires off to the...

I think a lot of people make a monster out of a mole hill. Tip..... replace pw with icp and bring the mfd in quicker when you feel the truck dogging down on lack of pw. This is of course assuming the pw is in the ballpark and not totally neutered out.

I have noticed one drawback to my current setup... When I get a real douchbag on the road that needs a good old smoke bombing to get their attitude straightened out..... I got nothing... I CANNOT put smoke on somebody since about 4 revisions ago. I can give them a little half second poof, and...
