The cold weather timing seems fine. The reason I had to mess with the multiplier so much for pw is because the full power pw is so low compared to stock, that there wasn't much to be multiplied. In cold weather, most all that extra pw is not injecting fuel.... it's holding the poppet valve...- Charles

Glow plugs have no bearing on my point. No smoke was coming out the pipe, therefore no fuel was being injected, regardless of whether or not the cylinder was warm enough to ignite it. And my glowplug system is 100%. New motorcraft plugs went in with injectors. The point of my post was to...- Charles

Okay..... got some REAL good cold weather testing. On top of Beech Mountain at 5,506' right now. Yesterday, temp was 19 with 32mph wind, do NOT underestimate the power of wind! With my tables set up at 4ms of pulsewidth and 2500psi for cranking the truck would sputter along but not lite off...- Charles

This hybrid instrument cluster pisses me off more and more every day... I guess the idiot gauges we had before were still too informative, so they took away what little we did have! I don't even have a volt meter now. Just have to assume it all went to plan... Are we sure the PCM doesn't... -

You need to know if you're making oil pressure before you do a bunch of work that may not matter. If you're sitting pretty at 2500psi dicking with IPR's and sensors is gonna feel pretty dumb. First, if you crank for say 20 seconds, do you see the lube oil pressure (engine oil pressure) gauge... -

I ran 400/400's with a stock OBS 15 degree. Truck would do rolling burnouts on 35" tires at will. Sure, it was less powerful than with two pumps, but still over 500rwhp easy. Don't over-estimate the need for oil volume.- Charles

My bad, in that case you've got something wrong with the scope. Wrong pin (I know.... you checked.... check again...) Otherwise, you don't have the probe grounded or something. Looks like you're just picking up noise on channel 2 from channel 1. How are you connecting to the truck? Read in...- Charles

Did you read post #90? Btw, you are making those two signals, so anything you don't like, it's all you to fix it. The IDM just has a pull-up resistor IIRC. It's your job to sink them down to form the waves.- Charles

How do I know the head sealing design on the 6oh sucks horrifically with no real solution? When people just give up and decide it's easier to beef up the poor degas bottle so it can take a better cylinder pressure pounding, because the heads will never seal... Dang.- Charles

Flow bench?
Take a simple toggle switch and connect it to the same signal from the IDM and send it to ground through a resistor to verify that you can in fact have a crisp square wave. Then figure out why your circuit can't replicate the simple toggle switch.- Charles

I don't have the first clue what you're using for a pull-down on the IDM signals, but whatever you're using for the red line on your scope it is insufficient. If it's a transistor, then you're not feeding it enough signal to snap it on and off. Do you have some capacitance or too much...- Charles
