    I still have the turbo and pedestal. 30k on the rebuild. Also have the van down pipe to go with this. The rest of the small parts in the pic are gone. I can send pics if need. Cant believe nodody can use this I sold a junk turbo for almost the same price in like a week???

    losing coolant found small leak

    I did the hoses and t-stats while I had the coolant out to remove the coolers. Hoses were a snap, I could see where the old ones had been weeping past the o-rings. I could see the t-stats being a chore with the upper cooler still on, they really freed up some room in there.

    This fuel system has a ritual to get air out of the system after filter changes. IIRC you are to cycle the key to the on position until you hear the pump stop running (30 seconds). 10 times in a row. Unless there is a lot of air it may take more. This happened to me last time I think it took...

    looks like 7.3 and chevy 6.6 rods are around $2500. They are expensive also. Maybe the 6.4 are twice as strong?

    Is this why the oil can light would flash upon start up? Always did it thought it was normal. Never stayed on just flashed after start up. Like I said been running this setup since I bought the truck 30,000 miles ago. I never had a huge problem snapping the motorcraft filter into the wix...

    I cant believe I didn't catch this earlier. Bought truck used so didn't know any different. 30k miles is a long way with unfiltered oil not to mention all the dry starts because the oil is draining back. Should say in bold print "Do not reuse cap"

    Ok just realized I have a wix oil filter cap on my truck and I have been running motorcraft filters for about.................. 30k. Am I screwed? Apparently the wix cap is taller which the wix filter makes up for WTF? This if F=ckin ridiculous.
