    yea i realized that today. someone told me NOT to run the engine and i was all pissed because it was late so i just went with it. finished it up today and drives nice! thanks for all the help

    by getting front tires off ground with the key on engine off turning the wheel side to side then add fluid as needed

    DTC issue

    i figured out the problem. i ignored charging the batteries because i got to excited about trying to test relays and do electrical stuff. i learned a few things from it so why not. i charged the batteries over night and the truck started no problem. :doh:

    quick steering problem

    01 7.3, just replaced steering box, pump/master cyl. 2yrs old. pump wont take fluid when trying to bleed the system, just spills out over top. anyone ever seen this?

    thank you guys for your input! i posted this on the org. and no one has answered me yet. the starter is only 6 months old. how do you test the prongs on the plug for the IDM, do you know? do you know anything of this? im going to go crazy under the hood with my multimeter in a little while...

    i have herd people putting the bottom leaf from the front of a F550 into a F350. dose anyone know anything about this?

    Running F450 stuff on F350 dually

    the steering gear box is the same from the 350 to the 750. i am about to replace mine for the second time (01 7.3) went with a redhead steering box out of washington state, cant wait to test drive it!

    i found out it was not the ground, i grounded it straight to the battery and it was still doing it. it is the amp it self, i guess its considered a "cheap" amp so it dosnt have the switch for when you turn the truck on its not on full power if that makes sense. i had to mess with the settings on...

    I put a 12" alpine type R in my super cab with a sony explode 1200 watt amp and a decent cd player. when first installed everything worked great, not to long after the sub started to pulsate with the fuel pump. i would pop the face of the cd player off and it would stop and now it keeps doing...

    what kind of popping noise did you hear? did it sound like it was going along with your fuel pump?
