I have a clunk on take offs, immediately after letting off the brake and getting going. I think it has something to do with the slip yoke on the rear drive shaft. Does anyone know what to put on this to help? U joints are all tight as well.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any play in the yoke when spinning it? You can pull it apart and inspect it, if the blue nylon coating is coming off it will need repaired.

Grease the yoke and output shaft.
Probly will need to pull the drive shaft to grease the yoke good, i havent looked yet but i have the same clunk and need to fix it.

sometimes you can just unbolt from the rear diff, slide the driveshaft in and out a couple times and bolt it back up, and it'll spread the grease in the slip yoke around
