Yea...it's their new 4G low pressure pump. They throw stuff my way for a more than fair price...no reason to not run it. All I really wanted was the bigger water separator...any other benefit is just a bonus.

When I started this thread it was in reference to a drop in rail pressure not supply pump pressure. The code you are referring to is a drop in rail pressure where your CP4 cannot supply enough fuel to maintain the rail commanded. Pulling up hill is a perfect example where you can run your CP4 out and not supply your fuel rail with enough fuel to maintain pressure and it will shut off. LPFP will send a different code if it does not supply enough pressure.


This happened to me yesterday. On performance I could only hold 22k rail pressure pulling my trailer up hill. Truck downshifted and completely drained the rails and shut itself off. Dropped it to the tow tune and had no problems holding 29k rail pressure pulling up the hills

Skipped around this post but are these the times for the truck in your sig?

No that was over a year ago and 5 Turbo's ago. Last run a week ago I ran a 12.6
