Sounds like we need a trip to Kennedale thursday evening! The truck rips, Matt and Garrett took me around the block yesterday. Made my truck feel even slower when I drove off...

The 6.0 has 190/100's with an rcd 68mm Pmax with supporting mods and Tony Wildman tunes. So nothing crazy but it's no slouch

I'm asking this question from pure ignorance- not attempting to provoke negativity. The 366 chargers are a common upgrade for the 6.7 cummins and those guys claim they spool just like the factory VGT.
Given our trucks are also 6.7l displacement, I would've thought a 366 would spool super quick for us, too. I know there are other factors like fuel and tuning, but why is the 366 leggy on the Ford?
What am I missing?

I don't think the lag is bad at all for a non VGT turbo. It just seems that way to us because the stock chargers spool up so quick on the 6.7's powerstrokes. It wouldn't be a good set up if you tow all the time though in my opinion.

but a modded 66 will work just fine. im gonna try the fleece unit. just gonna need a gate or motor go pop quick.

Well we got it on a dyno today, wasn't to happy with the results 616 rwhp corrected. it was running about 7 psi boost less than on the street.

Did go ahead and strapped my truck on the dyno which is always at 500 hp mark and track times back it up and the best I did was 420 corrected there was even a 395hp and 750 tq run, so not sure if it was the dyno or operator error but not really agree with the numbers I seen so now its off to the track to see where we are at.

Curiosity wants to know the uncorrected numbers?

I cant help to keep thinking about a 6.0 beating it with just 190s and a powermax....

BUT

I want to see some track times and a weight slip....you're very right..could be a million issues with the dyno results today.

There could be a lot of reasons, tuning, fueling and the turbo its self. Not all turbos are created equal. I have run a few different turbos on my 6.4 and I have had a 66 spool slower than a 71 and over all run better. Some designs just seem to work better than others.

I know the heads on the 6.7 PS flow a lot better than previous PS engines. Maybe they still don't flow as well as cummins heads though?

Well it pulled a full length to 80 on me with me getting the jump and I'm on the 68 pmax dynod and track times dead at 600hp. Seems to me like much more than a 20hp difference
