There could be a lot of reasons, tuning, fueling and the turbo its self. Not all turbos are created equal. I have run a few different turbos on my 6.4 and I have had a 66 spool slower than a 71 and over all run better. Some designs just seem to work better than others.

Very well could be. On the street it seams to pull good but don't know. I think once we get track times it will settle all of this.

CumminGs heads don't really flow that well.

Thanks- I was curious about that, haven't seen numbers from either side to compare.

Looking forward to it!

trap speed shuts me up fast! LOL

Agree- do you have a guesstimate? higher/ lower than 112mph? (assuming it's not 1/8th mile)

Kennedale is an 1/8 mile, unless they take it out to Crandal to run the 1/4. But thats clear across town for them. So it will probably run the 1/8th.

Well we got it on a dyno today, wasn't to happy with the results 616 rwhp corrected. it was running about 7 psi boost less than on the street.

Did go ahead and strapped my truck on the dyno which is always at 500 hp mark and track times back it up and the best I did was 420 corrected there was even a 395hp and 750 tq run, so not sure if it was the dyno or operator error but not really agree with the numbers I seen so now its off to the track to see where we are at.

Thats why I wanted you to run your truck on the same dyno with it, so we could see some kind on base line comparison. I don't trust any of the shops around here to dyno a diesel worth a crap.

It would be pretty awesome since its an 1/8th mile

welll... the guys asked if we thought it would trap 112-113 ... i assumed that meant 1/4. but 1/8th is easy to calculate. multiply time by 1.55

So how is this truck doing now?

Doing good, been a everyday driver since its been picked up and hes towing with it as well. He said mpg are undetermined since he hasn't got tried of the extra hp yet, lol.

Trans is holding strong as well, just waiting on the tracks to open back up to start test running and dialing in the tunes. We are fixing to throw a PMF 3 link on with some wide tires and wheels to help the bottom end out of the hole.

This makes me think more and more about a 6.7.
