Just a few pics of what's happening...

Batts mounted in a box in the bed...

I really couldn't tell in the other pics, so I held off......but most definitely in this one I can tell. Looks like the exhaust is right up against the top of the hole in the bed.....won't that vibrate like a sum bi***???

See yeah, it's like a stack where the exhaust is mounted solid to the box with a flex joint under the bed like this:

And you can see in this photo the exhaust solid mounted to the bed..

While it's down at Custom Auto some colour matching and cosmetic stuff is happening...
Pulling factory steps in favour of some "amp research" steps
It's kinda crazy how taking factory steps off can totally change the look of the truck!

The white is going to be a take it or leave it kinda thing! I'm sure it's going to be very "douchebaggy" like a guy wearing white sunglasses with a flat brimmed white hat... And a white tee, white pants and white shoes..... Hahaha or something!

In the past I have heard differing opinions on 4" pipes. One school thinks the actually hurt performance as you lose air velocity. I can't say one way or the other. I did it on 7.3 when I had twins. Can't say if it helped or hurt. Just my. 02

I don't see the point of ever going bigger than your point of restriction. It's like saying 5" exhaust makes a difference after a 3" turbo outlet

I know in the gas industry you can increase flow by shortening your area of restriction. For example an 8ft section of pipe that is half 5" and half 7" in diameter will flow worse than an 8ft section that is 2ft of 5" and 6ft of 7". But I'm not sure if the same rules apply to an engine.
