Setting: blew the pipe off and was pulled over just pass the 1/4 mark.

Track guy: you ok?! Shut it off!!!!

Me: I can't it wont restart! I just need my pipe.

Track guy: kill it! (talking to the other guy who just showed up) check for leaks

Me: I didn't blow my motor! Just need my pipe! But I kill it (after fighting with my harnness)

Track guy: looks good! I think he just blew his pipe off

Me: :doh:

Track guy: your good to go

Me: crank.. Crank........ Crank........ Crank.............................crank......... Etc

Track guy: it not going to start??

And yes welder is coming out.. But good news, the set up that we did on the intercooler to keep them from blowing worked like a charm.

Are you gonna try to cover the piping with some kind of cowl or leave them exposed???

I would think that leaving them exposed would help cool the air charge a little bit more yet.

I think the pipe blew off at alittle more than 17psi. Did some work on it and took it for a drive and watched both gauges. Edge gauge reads 7psi where the annolog gauge was reading 20.

That puts it at about 50 psi when it blew.
