Stretched tires are just a big circle jerk. The only people who think they look cool are the the guys that have them lol.

Why would you want to do that? looks like a Mexican lowrider with tires about to pop off the bead

I love 305s or 12.50s on a 12 wide. I think 13.50s look okay on a 14wide.

I like 305 Baja mtz's on stock 08 xlt wheels. Lol. They look good. Don't have to worry about popping off the bead.

Who's worried about popping off the bead?

Me because:
1 Pennsylvania roads absolutely suck. Hit a pothole hard enough and watch what happens.

2 Towing or hauling heavy on these roads might do it.

I wouldn't consider an 11.5ish on a 12 wide wheel to be much stretch. We all still remember you bitching out on the 14 wide wheels.

Not with 305s on 12wides. On 14wides yes that's just dumb. Keep in mind not all of us tow heavy on Pennsylvania roads.

lucky you. haha.

Mine hasn't had to tow anymore than a 25ft boat. Roads are pretty nice in nc. I still don't think a 305 will ever pop the bead on a 12 wide with a D or E load range tire. I ran my 420s at 20 rear 30 front at the track without issues. Drove it home like that too. I'm not happy with the tires overall though. Sidewalls just aren't strong enough for me. They hook though and cheap

Pa roads aren't actually that bad. I doubt anyone would ever have issues with 305s on 12s on them. If you hit something big enough to blow your tire off the bead, you are an idiot.

These threads always get stupid for some reason.

I would think as long as you are running over 30 psi on the tire you will have a very hard time having a bead come unseated from the wheel. I think just using some common sense goes along way. Yes with 14 wides and a 305 wide tire is probably a bit wider than i would recomend running, i think tire wear could suffer as well but im not sure.

The guys to talk to would be @ twisted, all them guys run 12-14 wides all the time, i think allot of what they run are smaller wheels tho so there is a little more sidewall to work with.

Thank you Jesus criminies he's acting like he's in the back roads of Canada... Those are rough. I've been all over pa and they really aren't bad try coming up to Erie and the New York area on the snow belt those roads are worse. Down by Philly and Harrisburg are pretty nice you'd have to be stretching the h$ll out of a 305 to pop it off a bead on a 20x12

That's what I was getting at. I'm not worried about mine.

Stolen from twisted. Looks great imo. He said it was a 33x12.50 on a 20x14. Atzs run wide though. I think it wouldn't look good with a 420s.
