Not nearly as cool as most posted here, but it's being done on an every-man's budget.
So far:
Elite stage 1 cam
Air Dog DF-165
Custom spec Elite trans w/ 13" custom converter & Elite flex plate
No-limit piping
EGR delete
Elite head studs
heavy duty valve train
Fab-tech traction bars
+ the generic stuff
I also just finished a complete engine tear down, and put in all new seals, gaskets, and bottom end bearings for peace of mind when I installed the cam. It's got just over 177K on the clock, and needed that peace of mind if/when I ever spray it.
Right around the corner:
ported intake manifold
larger injector nozzles (60's or 85's, not sure yet)
Elite modded single injection pump
4" down pipe
6.0 exhaust manifolds
prototype upgraded tow-power compounds
Probably a waste gate
maybe some nawzz
possibly a hand full of other crap yet to be decided
It's a heavy CCLB on 37's with goose neck hitch, air bags, in bed tool box, etc designed primarily to tow, and the occasional sled pull. I doubt it'll ever get serous as a drag racer as I won't be setting any records in a lifted CCLB, but I'm sure looking forward to some work-stock sled pulling in the very near future. No plans to ever cross the 750 HP mark on fuel as I can't afford to lose reliability as a tow vehicle, nor do I have the budget to get past 750 rwhp in a vehicle I can tow with. Every mod so far has tons of datalogs and dyno sheets as this is used for a lot of product testing.
Look for product comparison data soon in Elite's vendor section.
