Well, it has been decided..... Building a new frame from scratch with an a-arm front and cantilever rear.

I figured I'm not going to get it done for lst anyways, so I might as well do it big and take my time.

Well I have some chevy parts on their way that were donated to the cause, If those dont work i will probably just be spending some quality time with the welder and tube bender.

I got my clip for $500 any 8 lug chevy front clip should work 4wd or 2wd are the same

use the clip as a start point for the frame

2x4 box back off that straight back

I have pics of my 6 link cant set up if you need

No but I can take more if need be...
Most important thing is getting the intersecting point pointed at the grill... While thats confusing its much easier than the actual calculations

5 or 6 will defiantly have more off the shelf options in positive offset but those wheels will not be built to hold a 1000 pound engine like 8 lug will
most likely you will need custom wheels no matter what

This truck seemed to be able to hold it all in on 5 lugs pretty well, I have more pics of the a-arms but did not get to talk to the owner much
