Yeah, with that much lift I think it will work better on top. Mine is that way but came with a new bracket.

07, how do you like your hydro assist? I have been wanting one cause sometimes my chit will not turn in parking lots etc when not moving or very slowly. Try having a 1410 front drive line with a matching cv. I just put mine in and no more binding.

The bracket I got was reverseable so I am able to flip flop it. I am also doing a hydro as soon as I get the suspension squared away. Trevor recommended PSC and he has been pretty much spot on to this point.

I had lots of trouble with mine at first I got the kit from redneck offroad. I had a bad pump in my truck to begin with it worked fine with out the hydro assist but with it just wasn't healthy enof. Also my first ram was messed up it leaked. So between the two problems it made my truck so I couldn't turn when hitting the brakes and going 45mph and above it was dangerously touchy. So this is what I did to get it setup to drive so much better than stock. I made a drop bracket for a OEM steering stabilizer the hydro assist is going to only have pressure on the side you are turning the wheel so a steering stabilizer that dampens in both directions is a must in my opinion. I bought a Napa powersteering pump ported the pump one drill bit size bigger 1/8 in and stretched the spring a tiny tiny bit. I also run 5* of caster and the truck handles very good for being so high.

My ram is a psc ram. Or the same one the use anyway and if I just shipped the steering box to them to get it tapped the only thing I'm not fond of about the kit is the weld on brackets.

Was just going to say that I didn't like the thought of taping the pump myself.

As anticipated the track bar is much happier above the axle. In regards to matching the steering arm, the road test will be the true test.

Looks much better on top. Perfect world. The track bar should be the same lenght and angle of the drag link. For zero bump steer at least. BTW. Thats a big ass truck :D

Thanks bud. As it is now the drag link is 13 deg and the track bar is 13.25 deg. I might have to drop the front end about a half inch because I might be a tad higher than the rear. I can't tell inside the garage.

If I put a level on the bed rail and compare that to the floor the back is higher. But anyone who has done any carpentry knows, what is level......doesn't always look level.

Correct, depends on what one is "sighting" against. Congrats on finally getting your front end zipped up. Now you just need a trans, Intercooler, NOS,..... Lol

I have always thought a superduty has to be a little low in the front to "look" level. I like the front to "look" about an inch low myself. Mostly becuase I don't like the truck draging ass with an empty trailer. I would guess your not towing much though.

Well, it's finally off the lift and rolling. After assembling, adjusting, reassembling, grinding, disassembling, painting, then final assembling the product is worth the work. My limit straps and shock conversion brackets showed up. I still have to make sure I have enough slack to allow enough drop. I currently have about 2.5 in beyond where the truck sits weighted. I have some brackets to add two more inches should I need it.

I still have to test drive and check for anything I screwed up but I can't till my exhaust gets back from HPC coating. Once all the springs settle in I will readjust the coil-overs for proper rake. I'm sure there will be some castor adjustments to make as well.

I also still have to see what my front drive shaft angles are. Preliminary movements show that It spins freely with no binding and clears the cross member. Only the angle gauge and calculator will tell for sure.

They're not cut outs. Just standard pocket style bushwackers. Its amazing that the extra height makes the 38" tires look smaller.

So when you getting some 40's :toast:

I gotta keep it lower than Sean's orange truck. He can handle it, I'm concerned because the orange truck is his wife's and she will loose it. She will cancel my reservation in Bloomsburg. Lol
