I thought you could try polishing yours first, If it works to your satisfaction it could be a cheap solution to going A/M

Ya I hear ya. I was thinking of ceramic coating and powder coating on top of the ceramic like I did on the manifold but those no limit pipes look sweet

Only downfall to trying to polish the factory ones is that they are steel, and nit stainless/aluminum to hold the shine without a bunch of headaches to keep them that way.

I would just powder them. Really no need to ceramic them too unless you want piece of mind. The air moves through them so fast it won't give it a chance to pull any heat out of them.

sent from the shop making things fly.....

Yup that blue one is a high quality soot intake.

I used 1/4 npt plugs. Not the smartest but they sealed fine.
Internal bolts are 6x1x35 length bolt when mounting on the floor.

What did you use to seal the plugs? Thread tape or anything at all? Reason i ask is mines tore apart right now to put mine on and can't decide what to seal the plugs with

Yea...the flow of the Pmax is finally released!! I know the cost of buying a modded intake seems deep compared to a turbo but the results make you wonder where this can lead!!

I used Teflon tape and arp thread sealer rated at 10,000psi

A better way would be to get o-ring boss bungs and over size your existing 14 holes made weld the bungs in and get 14 o-ring boss plugs. Use the OEM 2 rear bolts. I have my bolts sitting on the floor of the intake. I used 6x1.00 thread by 35 long and they were perfect with a 8mm head

The first manifold I got was damaged. I welded it but it didn't fit my egr system year. So I sent it back. The other one he gave me wouldn't seal because it clamped from the top and wouldn't allow the torque to let the floor seat to the head. And I seriously didn't notice much it only felt like the boost came on a slight bit harder. It didn't help spool the turbo or any other thing he lied about"the seller **** head soot".

The red one I made is insane it almost feels like your changing from a street tune to a race tune. The power comes on way faster and way harder. My pmax is lighting off very fast with 0 lag what's so ever. The truck has a hard time keeping the tires from spinning up to 40-50 mph anything less than that they will break loose. Just make sure you open the top of the ports and make everything super smooth and you will jizz your pants when you run it lol and just as a safety silicone the gaskets it's worth it for the piece of mind

If you look at the pic with the manifold open you can see the hole, with the oem bolt you leave a gap around the wall of the hole and the bolt and air can/will work its way from there. . The only thing that can help that is a lot of silicone.

It looks better in the pics now with the aluminum dust all over the oil that was in this junk
