Thanks guys!

I really dont want to put mud flaps on this truck, but with the amount of rock they put on the roads here I might just have to.

^^ If only we had a track up here.

Palmer run this summer Dave?? Truck looks sick man. Like everyone else has stated, nice choice with the rims/tires.

I am sure if things go well this summer it will be on the track.

LOL

Well, the new meats made the truck a bit darty on uneven roads. Before it drove really strait...but had the usual gear box slop.

Anyone else have similar experience?

I know the gearbox slip you're talking about, my '01 had it bad.

And if it won't fit in your trailer it might fit in my 24 footer! My buddy's got his F150 in it right now

Well just eyeballing, the truck looks to be 78" tall and the trailer RO measures 77 1/2".

Its gonna be close!

Dang, I wish we wrote down our numbers when we measured...

There was about 3/4" to 1" room to spare on the back of the cab up top. Plenty on the sides. I stood on the rear bumper just in case as he backed it in.

Were you able to get out of the truck using the door, or have to slide out the back window?

Why is the truck in backwards, just storing it?

The truck's in backwards because reverse is the only gear that works - we're trailering it to a trans shop since neither of us has rebuilt an auto.

My buddy had to slide out the rear window. It was pretty funny - he's a pretty tall guy :D

Just think how bad ass it would be to drive it 400 miles down there, kick some ass, and then drive it back....But than again, it would be hard to fit you, the lady and a couple dogs in the SC...lol.

OK ok...Race trailer it is. That means your going to need a pit crew right?? I think it would be a good enough excuse for Michelle and I to get out of town ;-)

It would be cool to see you guys come down. I wish Jim would get his old 7.3 obs running again. If you guys do come down shoot me a pm and I can get some more diesels to come.

Maybe I can get the Banshee back together and bring that too. Of course that means the Jessie needs to come down also, cause I am not going down the track on that thing.

Ya man, that would be cool! I think I am going to take this summer off from racing, so I should have plenty of free time.

I am hoping to have the batterys moved this weekend, the cut down tool box did not work out like I had planned. Its gonna be a little stubby now, but really wont matter a whole lot.
