Why not externally gate the 38R?
Then you could spray another 400rwhp into it if you wanted, and the engine was willing to take it.

Just go with it!! I will be amazed if a PMR 7.3 beats that maxipad. Good luck from another PMR user whos truck should have gone with its old setup. Go big or go home.
Thats what I have been saying as well. Why stress things out and overspin the crap out of the turbo when a WG will fix it all and allow the air that is going in for what little it matters to be a tab bit cooler.

Probably 3 to 500 dollars depending on manufacturer and size.
In this case 44 or 46mm...heck maybe even 60mm LOL

Where would the gate go? Or where is the easiest place to install it? When you lack the skills to weld it to the turbos housing or have anybody nearby to do it

Its a regular cab 4x4. Stock bottom end, 4 link front and coil overs all around. Not all the fast guys are on forums...
Saw this truck in Ennis at Diesel Nationals, it ran pretty good. 12.5's on the runs I saw
