Well now that I have one of these.....:) I'll clean it all up a bit more for my review thread but here's the initial after last night's install. I really like that the MAF hole and block off plate are on the bottom now....makes for a very clean look, especially for us Job1 '05 guys without a MAF.

Rotate all your clamps around to the back or bottom side for an even cleaner look!

Here's a question for you guys. Just finished ordering my parts to go non-VGT today. My no limit intake has the MAF on the top and a place for the filter minder in the side. Would there be any harm done if I just removed the filter minder? At this point is it really needed? If it doesn't need to be there does anyone have any suggestions for how I could plug the hole?

Ill get ya a pic later, but thats all i did, plugged it with some interior cap thing that didnt stick much into the pipe, and glued it with it some grey silicon. Unplug the minder and put the wire up outta the way

I love the intake but the only complaint I have is that it's a tight fit. The degas tank sits against it and it is also pushes against the dipstick tube. I've put a few unwanted scratches in it trying to get it all to fit together

The only thing I used out of the air intake kit was the filter and had a local shop build an intake. 5" all the way to 5.5" inlet S468.

Yeah they must have Added a part number. I saw one open box version they have now. It uses the filter we use to use. It's still a higher intake air speed setup and It's still 1.2" shorter though. They probably didn't like the fact we had a bigger setup . Glad you're happy !

I'm kinda confused, I thought the no limit and the afe are the same exact filter?

You know that your oil filter cap is an aftermarket one and is way too tall? Look at the pics of the other engines in this thread and see how short theirs are. That means that the filter you have is not going all the way to the bottom, meaning that your oil is not being filtered properly.
