Tips for installing:
1) Position the MAF location at the 6 o'clock and adjust clocking from there for clearance. That OEM connector isn't the best for fit but can clear the AC line.
2) Variances in how far you push the filter onto the tube, and the NL tube onto the OEM intake can make a huge difference in where everything lines up.
3) Using any sort of paste/gel can help you adjust the intake from hitting the hood. Think of using toothpaste. Run a bead of grease along the top of the tube and boot. Shut the hood. Open and inspect. This will "mark" the hood where you have contact if any. The tube and boot will not necessarily line up just like anyone else. I found that the boot tends to have the NL logo facing upwards a tad with the tube elbow clocked just a tad off from center.

I have experienced your pain but overcome the issues with good reasonable effort. If need be I can get pics of how mine is set. Just ask.

Nice of you to write this, even though you did NOT profit from me buying one of these!

Did you not receive everything in the picture of the product ? The bracket would have nothing to do with rubbing the hood. That's typically installer error unless a tube is cut long. Please give us a call if your kit is missing an item!

Maybe you could post a pic with one in the engine bay, we tried for about an hour to figure out a way to make mine fit and the way its in their now was the best way we could come up with. plus mine if s stage 1 so id hate to see what a stage 2 would do.

Why are you being such a dik in every damn thread ?
This is the 3rd one and it's not just over an intake which you haven't even called to speak with someone about.
Act like a damn adult
Get your attitude straight or leave

Really....have you reached out to Mike and talked to him about it? I'm sure he'd make it right. Maybe he hasn't responded because your being a smart ass

I installed my No-Limit stage 2 intake tonight . wasn't to bad , the biggest problem was not putting some lube over the intake tube before trying to install the boots . I would have liked for the mass airflow sensor to be more towards the top of the tube instead of the 8:00 o'clock position on the backside of the tube towards the motor but it lines up best with the tube in that position . One thing that i can give mike as feedback is to show a pic of how to bend the EGR coolant tube to clear the underside of the intake tube . A pic is worth a thousand words in this case . I searched on google for a pic and either the hose was left crossing over the top of the intake tube or the hose was replaced altogether . The intake noise is slightly louder and you hear the turbo fluttering when you shut it down and your standing there with the hood up . the fluttering noise its something i haven't heard before , with my old 6.4 you just heard the turbo winding down .
