The great white north
It just dawned on about an update for our trucks. Pull the hpfp and see if the harness is grounding out. Reason I suggest this is that the early trucks harnesses didn't have any protective wrap on the wires and over time would rub thru and ground out. If that doesn't fix it you fried the computer would be my guess. We pulled the same codes off a machine at work the other day and it was the computer that failed. We also had to replace the injection pump too.

Well after un wraping pretty much the entire wire harness I found no melted wires. So I retuned it back to a Stock No-Regen tune and it pulled alot codes. P0001 Fuel Volume Regulator Control Circuit/Open P0090 Fuel pressure Regulator 1 control circuit/open P0148 Fuel Delivery error P062d Fuel Injector driver circuit performance bank 1 P062e Fuel injector driver circuit performance bank 2. Im at a loss.

if you have open circuits either the wires are disconnected or the solenoids them selves have failed. You can ohm the harness out and see what you get, should read close to no resistance.

The injector driver i dont know

BUT check the fuses, there is a fuse for the injection pump and injectors, you might have shorted out for a second and blew the fuse

Could be that. Its weird cuz it will randomly build pressure just not at wot. Guess Ill pull the turbos and replace the harness and go from there.

What do you have for a low pressure system.
When my cp3 wwasn't working my frame fuel pump took a **** same deal it would drop to almost no rail pressure and it threw codes for the regulators because they would go full reg but since the supply pressure wasn't there it didn't like the low pressure

the df 165. Ive been trying to figure out how to check its pressure.

i believe there is a port on the chassis of it. if not , just tee a mechanical gauge into the line. i have a gauge here if you need it.

Just my luck it couldnt be something easy, Airdog is pushing 10psi. I guess Ill be pulling the turbos and valve covers looking for the problem.

HPFP Harness looks fine no nicks in wires any where Im getting a new one in the morning just to be sure. While Im torn back apart this far Im thinking about running the line from the Airdog directly to the HPFP by passing the fuel bowl. Valve covers come off in the morning to inspect the lines and wiring there too. Im trying to get it figured out before this weekend so I can make it to Weekend on the Edge.

def a good idea to bypass the fuel bowl under the hood, that may be your problem anyway, your checking fuel pressure before a restriction rather than after it, so i would def by pass it, you may not find anything wrong but that alone may make it run correctly.

Got the hpfp wireharness in and got the fittings to by pass the bowl. I went and talked to the head tech at the dealer and were thinking white monster is right about it being the computer.

With as many times as you've pulled your turbos, you should have a write up with tons of pictures for us.
