The pan the best place i saw was to the rear of the pan on the passenger side, basically lookng thru the radius arm and frame....

Not sure on the oil tap, but like i said i think there is an o-ring boss plug in the side of the block that looks like its in the oil galley. Im going to block the oil fill and weld in my own where i see fit, same with the crank vent

we all are in the same boat as you. its not easy to do things like this, especially if its your DD. the majority and a big chunk of saving money is doing it on your own.
its always worse then what it really is. finding stuff on ebay or experimenting with other stuff you find on the shelf goes a long ways. even more so for the love of the sport and for diesel trucks.

Yeah, all of mine was done by myself as well. That is the only way it has gotten as far as it has. The BTS was almost luck. By the time everything is said and done i in a sense got paid to take a BTS. I don't have the tools or skills for the fab work like you guys are doin though. If i had the tools i could probably manage, but i don't have a welder, or any cutting tools, save a hack saw. Hell i don't even have an air compressor.

So heres what Im thinking for the oil feed, Using either the pressure or temp sensor spot and just tee-ing the sensor back in feed line.

Its coming along. It will be done by the 13th. Wastegate piping is proving to be a nightmare but I think I got it figured out.

North Da-***n-kota! For work. If your ever headed towards this state drive into oncoming traffic and save yourself some pain LOL

North Dakota A.. What Part?? Minot, Williston, Or any were on the North west side of the state???

Let me guess the work involves OIL!?!?!?!?!?!?

PS: Do not drive into oncoming traffic. They have enough wrecks up here as it is. Put it this way, There is about one to two crashes a day!! AND that is just in Williston ND..

I made it but I didnt run. I need to figure out whats going on with it.
Heres a pic of it finished (kinda) Im going to put my Intake elbow on and few other things before Edge Days. I finally got my TC back thursday so alot of things didnt get sorted out cuz I didnt want to weld Wastegate piping and downpipe until the trans was in. So there just wasnt enough time.
