I have spoken with Gary about the pumps many times. He is always working to make updates to correct issues that he comes across. Fix one thing and move on to the next, it seems, and his end goal now will be a very impressive pump.
Overall I'd say his customer service for warrantied pumps has been very acceptable. He's a very busy guy, but any time I have called he has gotten right back to me and gotten the customers taken care of ASAP.

Only time will tell if he can get all the bugs worked out. It's just unfortunate for those that spend a lot of $$$ on a pump to have continued issues with them until just giving up.

It really should be taken off the market until it is 100% perfected.

I think this thread goes to show just exactly why Terminator has not released his T1000.

^^ agreed.. However, if all the SRP users received an acceptable deal knowing that they are not getting a production ready pump, then its cool since they know what they are getting into...

I don't believe that was ever the case. The SRP has always been priced at a prime rate. BETA testing would be totally acceptable to have failures, as a tester that is what you are signing up for.

If you use potential customers as testers things begin to get ugly quickly. Premature release of the pump is what was originally said to have caused the SRP1 issues.... What is the common issue on the SRP1.1?

I have been hoping these pumps would begin to prove themselves as we need an option with this output.... it just doesn't seem like a reliable one!

I have sat back and watched this enough. People that believe that there are less than 30 failure you are in denial!!! Simple as that.
There are far more then that I have had 5 on my personal pump and customers pumps. My original srp1 grenaded and cracked the housing in half yes in half leaving me stranded 4 hours from home. After that my inj were full of metal and I had to tow it home. Then on to a srp1.1 paid the $150 or whatever it was to upgrade. That pump lasted 5k miles and some bearing inside let go causing it to fill the system with metal again. New IPR pump redone and had to have the inj took apart to get the metal out of the poppet seats. That is only my personal truck. Others pumps i have installed have done the same as well as the back plate blowing out and other internal failures.
That all being said the pump was awesome when it was working held pressure great with 300/200s but reliability is very questionable. I was taken care of most of the time by Gary with these failures but this still does not pay for all the other **** that goes along with the pump failures which can get expensive.

what is "cold"? what oil are you running? did you try an oil change yet?
I dont think they are making the billet pumps. big ticket item.

Cold is cold. Its relative. If you are referring to a cold start thats when the truck has sat all night, outside. If you are referring to ambient temp then 30° or less is cold in my terminology for it being "cold" outside.

Even if my oil had 4800 miles on it who.cares?! That wont prevent a truck from starting. Nor will it make the truck up and die out of nowhere. Beyonf that simple reality, my oil was changed after 500 miles of the initial 4800 on the pump. That oil was ran for 2500 and changed out. The current oil is about 500 miles old. The oil has been changed way too much "to be sure" for it to be carrying any cause. Delo 15-40 and mobil1/lubrifiner filter.

As far as what you think, that doesnt really matter. When the pump.was to be re-released stealth had bean post up the build info and yes the literature did say a stock case was used but all the jnternals and machinings were billet. It also gave price, warranty, and other pertinents. Im not sure where you got your info or whatever you call it but you're mistaken or the advertisement was bs.

Does Gary still produce the stg 1, 2, and 3? Id like to sendone in, pay the difference and be done with this. Im not going to "take another crack" at this pump. Im going to be putting brand new injectors in and not with a pump thats going to fil them with filings.

The HB SR will be out soon...but I see that it is not a proven one either.

Maybe jason will chime in. But I do wonder how many pumps they have tested.I am on the list for the upgrade from their jr. I am by all means excited to get it. I hope their failure rate is a lot better. Time will tell.

Well, guys I did like Matt @fullforce recommended and got the truck hot. I brought it home and shut it off. Waited five minutes and cranked it. Held the key for ten seconds, truck did NOT start. or even.close. Poured a glass of cold water over the pump. Went back to the cab, hit the key and it fired right up with an immeasurable cranking time. Id say the ***ker is toast. When it gets hot it will idle.horrible, it'll stutter when the throttle is.let off of, and it will die randomly when near idle.

tuning is only calling for 2900?
I would say that pump is working as it never exceeded 40%

I know a couple people that had SRP's and ended up selling them as they kept ****ting the bed. They work great, but whats the point of having an awesome HPOP if the damn thing is dieing every other day? Even my though my stock 15* doesn't build pressure as quick as an aftermarket pump, it can still hold 3k psi with my tunes and i can rely on it get me where i need to go every time. :)

hey dimwit, those would be the billet pumps that are out of stock on Stealths website for the last year.

So was my srp when I got it. And three months after that. I was asking for an answer from people who.actually know. Im glad you can go to stealth's website and come in here acting like you're some kinda hot catshti.

You're saying shti that isnt correct and its usually wise to.keep it shut if you dont know what is actually going on.

Gary told you in person that he doesnt produce those pumps? Can I see the email?

Yea, i just ordered a bosch 17° pump, from international. Ill take this pig out and send it in. Ill run a new stocker until I decide what Im going to do. Im unsure if ill go for a gen 3, twins, or try to get a hbsr.

This is the exact issue I've been having. And have chased IPR, had Tim at PIS flow my injectors. Then the problem showed the other day. My pump was blowing oil out the back.
