They don't, the PI is from David and he paints them black. Kris painted the transmission black before he sent it to me.

finally got it running, and by exhuast fumes i meant oil...

a little more blow by than i would like to see from a 70k motor with no cylinders reading under 385 :shrug:

Hey Mike glad to see you got it running. How long total have you had it running so far?

Until the oil from pulling the injectors burns off you will probably get some extra white smoke. The first test drive you will probably see a lot extra.

thanks seth, it has about an hours worth of ideling and maybe 20 miles since the swap. Im going to put another 50 on it tonight. Oil has burned off as expected. Truck runs good im just a little curious on the blow by :shrug: valve seals have less than 5k on em

My truck has 140k about 395-400psi on every hole and it has that much blowby out of the neck. It is what it is. lol

Yea put a few more miles on it. I dont think youve got anything to worry about. Idling does very little to clear the cylinders out.
