Try it in vinyl first to make sure you like it. If YOU like it, who cares what anyone else thinks.

I've heard of the gm guys doing it. Never seen it in person myself. From far way I say yes, close not sure.

2nd what everyone else says and do it in vinyl first.

I like it. My white 2014 Ram crew cab came that way. Done in vinyl from the factory. I thought it looked good and have also thought about doing it on my Platinum.

I think that some trucks can pull it off, others, not so much... But as others said, I would order a roll of black vinyl and do that rather than painting it. At least with the vinyl, it is a lot easier to reverse if you don't end up liking it.

Ive seen one in person. It looks good as long as its cloudy. And if the tint isnt dark enough it does not flow properly.

So Dodge has done this from the factory since for almost 20 years, and now its a yuppie trend according to you? Pull your head out of your a$$. Its gotta be dark up there...

I've seen it done on Fords for years as a one off thing. Looks good on some and not on others. As stated above, the darkness of window tint plays a huge role in if it looks good or not.
