My Girlfriend got me a cowl induction hood today from Cervini's, 2.5 inch cowl induction hood, weights a helluva lot less than the stock hood and took me and my gf about an hour to do.

i can say this was a truly bolt on kit, everything bolted right up with no alignment issue. I couldn't be happier with the new look, just gotta get it painted now

I like it...
Looks alone is worth it, but wonder if it helps with temps at all.

i can see it possibly helping a lot, it actually allows flow thru the engine compartment instead of just air turbulence that has to find its way to exit under the truck

Here's my Cervinis. Love the hood. They also have a ram air hood which my Buddy has. I think the ram air would really allow cool air in from the front. The cowl, not so much. I do not like the windshield washer squirters though.

My buddy had a ram air cervini on his 6.4. When we were down in the single digits and he was on the highway it would gel in the fuel filter on top of the motor. They're now hoods. Just watch when lifting your wipers to clean snow out from under them. They might hit the cowl.

Washer nozzles use the existing hoses and they developed a nozzle the screws to the underside of the hood. You can't even see them, atleast on the ram air hood. It's more of a double jet than a spray though.
