Yeah it was significantly lighter, by about half. I thought it would be heavier but it's not. I believe shipping weight said 55lbs, so subtract the box and the foam packing material, so many upper 40 lbs range

Any reason to get weaker gas shocks for the hood?
With my luck, I'd probably fold the phuckin hood in half the first time I went to close it...

I'd like to get this one:

I was actually thinking about getting weaker one. The hood doesn't fall. I have to pull it with force to get it down. But once I put the grill and the brackets on it helped a little

Finally got around to getting the good painted. My buddy is doing it and he sent this pic of it still wet, and I had him repaint my front bumper too (in the background) had rock chips and rust, rust caused from the rocks chipping the paint

Oh she's a keep alright. She knows exactly where my parts list is for my build and ask questions about the stuff. Just a hour ago we were talking about the Midwest diesel dual fueler kit

Woke up at 5:30 today and had to leave for work at 6 for ot, I put the grill on and shimmed it before I left. Tomorrow I will reinstall the bumper if I decide to not be a bum and wake up earlier
