If they run like there packaged they are gonna be awesome. Seriously top quality packaging this box could withstand a head on collision better than a smart car. Going to drop them in today I'll report back.

That aint shti! Ask Tim to post a picture of the box I sent my cores in!

Think a whole sheet of 3/4" plywood. Lined with a whole sheet of 1" foam. The lid set down in and was held by a few screws. It was insulated so well it kept beer cold for a whole night. We wanted to see if it was protective so we hit it with an 8lb'er while it was full of beer....glass bottles. Nothing broke.

No. Takes about ten minutes for someone who does stuff like that. And its better than having to pay a core charge. I.had the material laying around in my lumber shed.

I figured. It was simply a solution when I got home too late to get one of those cute boxes from the ups man.

Have you guys ever checked out the instafoam packaging solutions? I have received parts packaged this way and it looks pretty awesome. Don't know anything about it though.

I have 250/100s in my DD and and the idle is louder than 175/30s in the dually. Does having bigger nozzles make that happen?

I'm not 100% but I think tuning has a major part in how loud it idles. I know I can flip my switch to stealth and it's a big difference

I have 250/100's and stepped back to 175/80 and hope to have them in this weekend. My 250/100's are rough, loud and smokey. I think hybrids are overrated. Most arent wanting 500hp. Most want a sound DD/tow rig and hybrids dont fit in that scenario.

Any tuner who is competent can make a set of hybrids do anything you want. Also there are a bunch of sizes of hybrids. I bet swamps would say their 200/30's are a hell of a good injector for a tow rig, while keepin a stock hpop.

Odd... when I had 250/100's in my obs the idle was much smoother than stock. All in the tuning though, I ran gearhead tunes and none of what you mentioned was a problem. My buddy bought my motor after I wrecked the truck and he is running swamps tunes also with no complaints.

Sounds like it was a tuning issue...

I'm running gearhead and like I said they are smooth. And depending on the tune there is almost no smoke. Even with 30k and my foot stuffed into it very minimal haze. Yea if you put it on street or all out and step on it there is a **** load until the turbo catches up.

From the sounds of it, P.I.S Is the way to go when it comes to these injectors. Definitely going to have to keep that in mind for the near future.

Derail again,

TyCorr your avatar makes it hard to keep focus on what i'm typing LOL
