Hi all, this is my first post on the army.
Ive spent weeks researching every 6.4 single swap thread i could find.
I'm wanting to do the single swap. A few reasons, it looks better and is way easier to work on, and it sounds better.
I want to be able to tow up to 10-16k I need to so I am happy to stay on the smaller side and stay with a t4 divided setup.
I know many have had great spool up with 363s, but we have come along way with the sxe and sxr turbos, and now we also have affordable dual ball bearing turbos.
I'm looking at a pulsar s366 and thinking it should be able to spool just as good as an sxe 363 and give good power on stock fuel.
I'm more concerned about keeping egt's in check, keeping spool up times not stock, but as close to stock as possible.
I don't drive my truck hard so I'm not looking for crazy top end.
I want a nice drivable single that's good for daily driving.
Not convinced one way or another on a kit yet,
My question is who has experience with a ball bearing s366 or similar size turbo for drivbility?
I may do the turbonator someday, but not planning on it initially.
