This is were everyone gets confused. MPD says they can hold max icp on 285s. People they are flowing 285 on a flow bench

Other venders say 205s are the biggest, when useing the 205cc, they are refering to what the injectoe is capable of holding internaly

There is no set standard in the 6L world as to how 6L injectors are measured. I've seen two sets of warren injectors that are way biggerr than what they were told they werre, that's why they smoked more than other vendors, now on the flip side of that we've all heard "my 190s don't smoke at all" that's cause they weren't 190s. I really wish there was a standard on how they are all sized. 100% nozzles in a crew cab went 10.60@131. Well over a 1000hp. So why guys are putting 150s in 190cc or 225cc stix is beyond me. The 100% is gonna atamize the fuel better for ya, giving you better fuel only numbers and cleaner running trucks on the street.

Pizza pig made a good choice in staying with 100's. If anyone has proof that my statement is incorrect, please correct me and I'm sorry in advance

Well said, I'll be first to admit to being stubborn about this very subject, ask Morgan LOL 100% nozzles are the biggest i'd run on the street, the 150s should stay in race trucks, and barrel capacity larger than 225s. Though the 150s did have their up's and downs like everything else does.

I have Mpd 285/150, Eric recommended them and I'm very happy with how they perform so far. I can't say where Icp is at as I haven't checked it yet.

does the 100% nozzle still hold true even for hybrids? I see alot of hybrid injectors using 150% nozzles instead of 100's...just curious.

Only mpd tells people to use 150s and they have even posted that they smoke less. I think there smoking something cause 100s is where its at. Only 1000hp plus trucks that are spraying nos need 150s just my 2cents.

We just made 863hp on 100 nozzles in james truck, by the way that puts him #12 on the highest hp list of all powerstrokes. So unless you guys plan on stepping up huge, 100s are going to be your best friend

nozzles larger than 100s seem to only benefit large conventionls or huge hybrids, with more than stock oil. My 150s were clean as a whistle WOT with a 66, but they hazed a decent amount at idle and at certain throttle positions.

The 150s dont run hot though as one might think.

edit: damn shawn beat me to it lol.

From my very little bit of experience with aftermarket injectors, I have to say that I totally agree with this. I know I had contemplated going with 150 nozzles on my "190s" but I am so happy with how well my truck runs with 100% nozzles on it that I don't think there is any gain for me to go higher. I think even if I go up in barrel capacity, I will probably still keep 100% nozzles. I know on a sunny morning I can see my 100s haze slightly. I can only imagine what it would do with 150s.

I've heard that with 205cc and higher injectors...the spill ports are plugged. Is there a reason why the spill ports are plugged? Do they have to be plugged and what would happen if they don't get plugged? Do all injector builders plug the spill ports on injectors 205cc and higher?

Had my spill ports welded up to make 210's, ended up warping my brand new injector bodies. Trashed at 27,000 miles
