I would look in the manual and look for fuse that would be KO. BOSS should have an installation manual to help. I know Fisher Plows will tell you where to look.
Yeah, I know, but sometimes you don't know you need it until you're in the danger zone lol
I guess I miss the old manual lockouts and shifter, you know what you have all the time!
I don't know why Ford insists on high idle as soon as they roll over when it's that cold. Almost every other electronic controlled diesel starts and idles low for a minute or so and then ramp up.
That in a nutshell summarizes the difference in aftermarket and performance differences between Ford/PowerStroke and GM/Duramax and Dodge/Cummins. The culture and supporting businesses share and work together with a common goal. The PowerStroke world is completely opposite.
I was just thinking that. I waited quite a while before putting the new filter in, but it kept drizzling out. Not too worried, just hate seeing oil spots. Next time I'm going to give the whole area a quick spray with cleaner to flush it out.
Another oil change and more oil slobbering out. Next time I am going to try to wipe the filter base as dry as possible and install a dry filter and see what happens. I have this filter as tight as safely possible. I tried snugging it with a wrench when I got home today and there wasn't anything...
Very cool on the *** loading screen. I wish it was available from the factory. As stated above, what did it take to get the Forscan software to do this?
