Never got over 178 ish pulling the boat running like 72-75 . And not pulling the boat , it doesnt get over 170 - 175 . It was 90- 95* out too . So I'm real happy with true cool. Still debating on getting the otw cooler for stop and go .

New cooler is on , 100* today and drove just as far as i had a couple of times before when i was testing the cooler/coolers and it got to 170* trans temp. Thought that was good. Real test will come tomorrow pulling the boat. Got the tranny to 275 last time i towed it . Wish me luck.

I was having the same problems. Earlier in this thread they told me that our trucks only had an air cooled truck up until February 2000. Then i guess they started puttin coolers in the bottom of the radiators. Sounds good but dont waste your time or money on anything but a 6.0 cooler or a...

Ok I understand that I havent bought a 6.0 cooler yet . Sure I wasted 25 bucks on the condenser but it was worth a shot to me . I'm 21 working my way through college , playing college football and having truck problems. My income per week is about 400 on a good week where weather is cooperating...

Right and I think hes saying thats its acting like its plugged and is not actually going through the cooler. Well not all of it I believe. But that's why i wondered why it would get hot with 2 coolers . That are actually made to cool it?
