Mine barely gets into the normal range. It will make ok heat on the highway, but around town the temp dips below normal and it can only make barely warm air. I had a '97 before, and it behaved exactly the same way.

Figures. I just wonder in cases like this, what do body shops do? OEM discontinued and replacements are junky. I guess they have contacts. I'm considering making my own Iron Bull/Road Armor style bumper and having it sprayed with bed liner. I really like the chrome though. Anyone ever see this...

Chrome, decent shape, and I guess somewhat near 19711. Shipping would be spendy. Sunrise Ford catalog shows it $800+ and discontinued. The LMC version I bought rusted in barely a year and is crudely shaped. Junk yard finds so far have been rough. Help me out please.
