Reading the article I found it looks like a truetrac wont engage if you start out with a wheel in the air aka no traction at all. Weird steering issue?
I think I read in a few other threads that swamps is carrying them. I bought mine straight from the company but swamps might be able to get you a better price. Worth checking at least. -

I havent tried the mobile 1 oil in my 2002 7.3 but I do run the valvoline full synthetic and Ive used rotella dino oil and I tried rotella t6 full synthetic when I couldnt get the valvoline for one oil change. My truck runs night and day different with the synthetic over dino oil. Smoother... -
Weird steering issue?
Sounds almost like what my truck was doing when the steering box was bad. But it was pretty constant about doing it. Basically where ever you turn the wheel it stayed. So if I had it turned x amount to go around a curve it stayed turned that much after the curve ended and I had to turn the wheel... -

The longer its been since it was changed the more stuff will get broke lose with the flush process. So its especially bad if its gone say 100k+ miles and then gets flushed. Not to mention your getting crud back in there from the last person that had their trans "flushed" on most flushing rigs. -

Transmission flush machines are evil. Well dark lord of the sith evil to be more accurate :) Changing the fluid and filter is good. But flushing is bad. If your going to service your trans at all then changing fluid and filter every 75k to 100k miles is ideal. If your not going to do service... -

If the bulb dims its normally the bulb itself but sometimes it can be bad ballast. Did you try changing the bulb from one side to the other to see if it was the bulb or the ballast? Is this the retro kit? No special harness needed since the hids dont use ANY power from the factory harness amp wise. The hids get their power straight from wires you attach to the battery itself. The harness plugs aka where the factory headlights hook up are plugged to the hids but thats just...- crowz

You can unplug the ac stuff no problem but the compressor isnt going to come on without freon in the system so just ignore it being broke if you dont want to fix it. That way if you decide later you want it fixed its a simple fix or if you go to the sell your truck its worth more with a/c than...- crowz

Ive had my retro solution hids for 5 years now and they still work flawlessly.
