    I agree - it seems like many of the top 2.6 guys are on borrowed time for ring and pinion gears. I know several that keep them on the shelf and change them out every 3 or 4 hooks because they know one more hook is a guaranteed failure.

    There are so many things that happen that never get published to the forums. Yes I have 750cc injectors. No you can't buy them. There is a truck sitting in my shop that will be the first to have them where the public can view them in action.

It runs well and still has a stock bottom end - In the COTPC it is just a fun ride that winds up just behind the big dogs. - at some of the brush pulls its a contender - but its seldom...

    I'm watching - long term high power output has been a subject of discussion around me as of late for various projects..... It can be done I think, but more attention needs to be paid to cooling and lubrication that most do. I'll be interested to see how this manifests itself.

    Cometic gaskets. I can't speak for the power numbers -but its had WOP compounds and some much larger injectors in it and its had no issues other than a couple of oil leaks.

    To those wondering about the connecting rods - these are the strongest connecting rods ever built for a 7.3 - definitely overkill for a HEUI engine. I have been trying to locate the build thread - but am having some issues doing so.... not sure why.

    The DI cam is just a custom grind done for Diesel Innovations - I don't recall the exact specs - it was in the first motor that was delivered to me to be fixed and then reused in this build.
