It could be the ipr, tuning, or icp. Is it something that just started happening, or did you make changes, such as injectors and tune and then it happened? If it started happening with no changes to anything, check your icp voltage at koeo, it should be .23v, also, unplug it and make sure... -

Forgot to add, we do expect to see a rod someday, in which case we’ll know for sure, it just hasn’t happened yet. He’s got close to 30k on the injectors, has been thru probably 20 turbos through testing stuff and dynoing each turbo against each other. Truck probably has around 100 dyno pulls on...- 6.0 Tech

I’m not sure, I haven’t checked. He has not had any issues with it, and tows a 25ish foot toy hauler every other month. Hazing 7.3
Cut pistons lower the compression ratio, and it will haze more at idle, especially when cold. I’ve got cut pistons in my truck, and when it’s cold here for Az, like 30-40 degrees, it looks like the streets on fire until it gets up to temp. glow plug issues
Sounds like a bad glow plug module. But for shits and grins back probe the wire for #3 directly at the glow plug module and verify there’s no voltage there. Also, make sure the wire is fully seated in the connector, these trucks are getting old and the plastic gets brittle, the locking tab can... -

Cnc fab got back to me today. Seems the pressure sleeve in the pump came apart. He said it’s not real common, and the ones he has seen this on had completely different issues than what I’ve got. Yeah, my 10 mile road test gets the air out. I usually run it in second until I get to the highway, then, depending on gears, I’ll run 3rd or 4th at hi rpm’s for about 4 miles, it gets hot as fuck…. After doing that it’s typically a 2-3 second crank before it fires up. Sent from my iPhone... -
