So buy it. Your planning to be overweight? Dude basically said "operate at your own risk". If you scale your loads like you said you would, you wouldn't ever be in violation. Unless you wanted to, anyway. Nobody is going to ticket you for a capacity overage, only for an actual overweight load. -

If that's the seat shop price, and you like their work, I'd say that's your route. Not sure you'll get take out seats any cheaper, and it's a crapshoot on how good of shape you'll find.- psduser1

Pretty sure the stiching pattern is completely different, and the shade will be substantially different. I don't think they will match at all. Aftermarket won't be much better, either, at least from my experience. At 1100ish, that's probably your best bet, moneywise. Jake's set is probably...- psduser1

2wd excursion suspension upgrades
So I've talked to several spring shops and retailers, basically all that is available for the front is stock springs, in various weight ratings, or, aftermarket, is minimum four inch lift. Internet says ford wanted 2x s to all have roughly the same curb height, so a higher spring rate only...- psduser1

I'm just gonna say, these pcms are too dumb to know if they are broken. The only problems I've ever seen posted with the pcm is some dipsh!t pulling the chip with the key in the run position.- psduser1

No, they're not. Dealers aren't responsible for your actions after you leave the lot, any more than armalite is responsible for mass murders. Having said that, anyone can be sued, for anything, so apparently, he's more worried about the hassle than the sale. -

Aaaaa d all those rules apply to commercial vehicles. A "not for hire" sign may cover the dealers bases. -
