    06 intermittent no start

FYI (FICM information) to add on to CTCDeezul's post: C1388B (X-2) Connector: Injector Control, Cyl. 2,3,5,8 (Middle plug) C1388A (X-1) Connector: Injector Control, Cyl. 1,4,6,7 (end plug) I believe that the spool valve actuating is temperature dependent (oil temp I believe). Sounds like a...

Due to the heat, that connector tends to fail. Keep an eye on it. It is the same part number as the IPR connector.

    Asking for help...

btw - you do not have a "manifold gauge" sensor. The manifold gauge pressure (boost) is determined by subtracting the Baro from the MAP.

    Diagnostic Apps for your Phone

ForScan and Torque Pro are both good. IMO ForScan will read codes more thoroughly.

    Slow acceleration and hard shifts

I am not sure how you can say the injectors are good, but assuming that, have your mechanic check out FICM volts. Hopefully you are using a thorough code scanning tool.

07 shuts off after a few minutes

When you change caps, be sure to install an OEM oil filter. A tall oil filter won't do well w/ an OEM cap (things break). Do you have a known good FICM to try? It is very hard to confirm a FICM is actually working w/ just a scan tool. Seeing the FICM LPower when cranking and FPW (fuel pulse...

    Base oil pressure issues

Quite frankly the only thing that fits (IMO anyway) is a leak between the LPOP and HPOP. From what you say you have plenty of low pressure when cranking (the regulator opens at 70 psig) and you have adequate high pressure when it starts and idles. Only when you try to get more high pressure...

    Base oil pressure issues

When you drove it "halfway home", was the engine oil pressure ok when you first started that drive? Were you watching an aftermarket oil pressure gauge then or watching the dash gauge? So it was acting up BEFORE you changed the lpop gears, checked the oil pickup tube position, front cover...

    Base oil pressure issues

Was just wondering why it went to the shop (the shop that left the oil galley plug out) in the first place, and what all did they do? Was it acting this way (low base oil pressure) when it first went into the shop? Still the same problem leaving the shop? Did you do all the work you described...

    Base oil pressure issues

You have all the right answers, like you anticipated the recommendations. Why not put all those things that you have done (and are trickling in on the 4 different forums) in the very first post? It would help in the troubleshooting. This way it is just a string of information slowly being...

    P0148 code

I would pull the intake hose off of the turbo and the air filter and see if it needs cleaning. Probably all gone through the engine by now though. The oil gets 50 degrees hotter in the pan than what you see on the oil temperature gauge. At 250+ degrees, you can have a pretty high percentage...

You might actually have been carrying over oil/fuel into the air intake through the ccv hose.
