    if you have rpm on the scan tool (allll the time, every time while cranking; starting or not starting), then there's nothing wrong with the CPS, or the wiring to PCM from the CPS, in my opinion. if you have a 'scope..what are you seeing 'fall out' when the truck dies? FDCS, CID, CPS signal(s)...

    you're not checking gear run out...you need to be checking cam gear end play. but on the other hand...if you have an rpm reading on scan tool (or scope)...why are you even dicking with the CPS/CPS wiring at all?

    we've sold a couple recently with excellent results & feedback. One went on a dealers truck (dexeted 2012 truck that had previously swapped to & grenaded a 2015 charger setup) and he is SUPER happy with that kit.

    rear is no block, and minus a leaf front is cut 4400's, and trimmed bump stop I think we can go down another .25-.375" in the front...but thaaaaats about it on a 4WD, without doing something with the oil pan/front axle.

    "fueling" isn't jusssst related to pedal position...since pretty much every electronically controlled diesel will have some reference to boost/MAP pressure... you could almost certainly confirm this by monitoring injector pulse width and rail pressure at "WOT" in park/neutral...and go blast up...

    no. if it's a HEUI engine, it isn't going to make enough power/tq to hurt any aftermarket billet rod available...tuning aside.
