    ask your tuner. I've purposely done this on large(r) injector trucks with large(r) single turbos to aid spool and minimize smoke.

    Arisley- pretty sure this is just a used t444e engine. If you ran a compression test on the engine, then plop a new wheel in it and roll. If you didn't run a compression test, the worn wheel would have been a big red flag on choosing that engine as a candidate Sent from my DynaTAC

    Have a PCM too...I'll tell Shawn to hold off on the 4/4s. Poppet probably isn't stuck like a 6.0L spool...but increased 'over' and cold oil not flowing through the poppet (on time) just delay the event. some guys note improved unplugged starting after installing our hvhf idm if that helps...

    see this a lot..definitely related to pedal position. not ideal..but you can increase mass fuel desired at low pedal to shift the "driving" range lower in the pedal... was actually thinking of asking Mark this today... my Excursion seems to 'follow the tuning' map at 17% pedal position or...

    your scantool is most likely giving you pressure in kPa..Kilopascals 1kPa= 0.145psi sooo...14,000 (ish) kPa = 2,030psi. mystery solved. :shrug:

    have them in both my 7.3L trucks... about eleventybillion times easier to install than individual gauges...and will read just any PID worth monitoring on a 7.3L...also nice to use as a backup camera in my Excursion...

    ICP pressure at idle (and annny condition other than max injector duration) is going to be a function of tuning, much more than the injectors. basically...if the injector isn't going 'full stroke'...then the PCM is controlling the ICP pressure. it's only when the injectors' oil usage exceeds...

    I can't speak for other companies, but as of (~2011) we modified our 58v FICM's such that the ECM sees @ 22% less voltage on our 58v units (to minimize the hey my 58v FICM is throwing the same P0611 code as my low voltage stock FICM questions) P0611 merely means voltage out of range...so some...

    correct...the OBD/ECM will not read/display higher than 54vdc. if the FICM has voltage...and the FICM will 'buzz' all 8 injectors...then the issue(s) are most likely not going to be related to the FICM.

    do you have a chip in the PCM? if so, remove key from ignition and remove chip...retry. do your 12v power points in the dash work? PCM fuse under hood?
