Dont over look the little things too. Make sure it has the updated spring kit on the fuel bowl housing and make sure the degas cap is up to date (the big spring). If you aren't going to do aftermarket boots, take the ones off there now, clean them, flush the CAC and re-route the CCV. Sorry if...

Fuel Lab PSI?

I was. After I cut a hole in the tank I ran just a rinky dink in line 10 micron filter. Fuel Lab recommends nothing lower than a 75 micron or it will burn the pump up I was told. I took it off today. Only had about a tank through it since the install. I didn't want any pieces of plastic to enter...

Ok. Got some answers from FL themselves. Apparently I was running the pump at full speed and didn't need to be. I was instructed to place a jumper wire from the yellow terminal to ground and that cuts the pump to half speed and whaddya know. Got her down to 17psi. I want it a little lower but I...

Fuel Lab PSI?

Alright..I took the 10 micron filter out, plumbed in the FPG and screwed the set screw in and out and it still wont back off of 25 psi. It wont go any higher either. My next move I guess is to get a new gauge? I'm on the verge of getting frustrated. I screwed it back in to about where it was...

^^ Good question but the double filtration setup I assume would be better than the stock filter. It doesn't have the micron number rating on the filters but I would think they're at least a 10 micron if not down to a 2. According to FL, you can pre-filter to the pump and if you decide to, a 75...

This is awesome. A buddy and I were going to try and tackle this but knew it would be a pain for just us. Im glad someone finally did it and proved it could be done. Hats off! :ford:

most miles on a 6.7l

Actually, by mid 2007 there were less warranty claims on the 6.0 than there ever were on the 7.3. Hard to believe but its true.

Where did you read pressure at? The end of the Fuel Lab hose? I have an aluminum fuel cap with a port that I thought I could use to read pressure but I had no input from anybody. Should I disconnect the feed line from the Fuel Lab? The way I installed it was I cut the factory return and factory...

Cousin got a new truck and talkin mess so I guess we have to get it done. 2008 maxipad, fass lift pump. PPE tuner on hottest setting, stock trans, 6" lift and 35s... Mine is in my sig...winner?
