When does EBP become an issue? The CTS I got was preset to go off at 40. It started barking at me as soon as I loaded up a canned street tune and a trailer with my sxs on it going up hill. I think the highest it hit was 50 or so.- Nic

First off, lets not get into an argument about this guy. Hes good at what he does and I know he may have a few "extreme" ideas and theories, but lets keep it on topic...Any of you had these issues with the valve guides? Im guessing Im going to need new heads at 200k? Apparently steel to steel...- Nic

Well hell, if you go in to do connecting rods, one might as well do pistons? :shrug: All the fuss I hear about them being crack prone all the time has me watching the EGT like a hawk trying not to let them over 1100...- Nic

6.4 internal limits?
Besides pistons, what would yall consider the "limit" for HP when building these? I have a buddy fixing to pick up a regular cab and wants to throw bigger turbos on it and this guy isnt one thats "light" on the throttle....Drive it like you stole it kind of fellow.- Nic

Anyone running the FuelLab 200?
I still need lines made and not sure how to go about installing this. Morgan @ Midwest said the factory lift pump gets bypassed. Now, question is, do I run the new lines all the way up to the fuel bowl or do I cut the factory hard lines and join in the new lines?- Nic

Question...If I have lines made for this, Morgan said the stock lift pump gets bypassed. Now, would I need to run these lines all the way up to the motor or do I cut the factory hard lines and put the ones from the FuelLab on it? Sorry for the derail.- Nic

Gear ratio??
^^ WHS. I would stick with a 3.73. Nice all around gear. For 37s, I would think a 4.10 would be just fine.- Nic

just bought some wheels for the KR
And just for the info, Those of you wanting new tires, stay away from the Federal Couragia's. They come apart at half life. I had one start to come apart on me halfway to Tyler doing 80. A friend of mine also had them come apart. One on the trip there and one again on the way back. They wont...- Nic
