Any noticeable differences (sound/powerwise) with the piping kit, aside from looking 100x better then the factory set up? Ik its for mods down the road, but just curious.
Ik this is an old post, but figured if you weren't interested, someone else on PSA would be.
Note - this is not my truck, nor do I know the seller.

Do NOT update! More then likely it will brick your tuner. If you want different tunes but want to keep the H&S, get the MCC unlock and get custom tunes.
Fix that hood and it will be money well spent, and consider advertising in the rust belt. I got only slightly less then that for my '03 ex cab with 143K. Post more photos also both inside and out.
100% worth the effort. Not a single other truck in the segment has a 22,000 GVWR, unless you feel like jumping in and out of and maneuvering a GM 5500/6500 or a cab forward truck.
The door tag it bears is going to be invaluable to fleets and fleet upfitters.
This trend seems to be getting more and more common. Where I work, every year we see less XL/XLT trucks coming in for plows and more Lariat/Platinums. 2-3 years later they will trade them off and swap all the equipment over to the new model. Amazes me, however the demand is so high for the used...
From motortrend...
"TORQSHIFT 10-SPEED AUTOMATIC
All new. Less than 7 percent of parts are shared between the F-150 10-speed and the Super Duty TorqShift transmissions. Those that do carry over are primarily minor fasteners. Gear ratios have not been shared as yet, but we're told they aren't...
Try the Rough Country 2" Ford Leveling Spacers. They're cheap, work awesome and are simple to install. With the 1.5" kit, you will get a tiny bit of squat in the front. I will try an dig up a pic of my '11 with the 1.5" kit, it had the prep package.
What are some of you guys typically running for exhaust back pressure? Running the h&s mild 160 tune just around town, I'm seeing as high as 420 inHg.. not seeing much for smoke but boost builds fairly slow. The highest I've seen on desired back pressure is 121.
Normal? Stock aside from a race...
Check the base end of your upper radiator hose where it connects to the thermostat housing. Factory design was known to have issues. If this is the case, there will be drips off the bottom of your dipstick tube.
I think its erissions related issue, I keep getting the p40088 code and it keeps telling me to drive for awhile so it can regen. Who knows if it even can at this point, lol. Tuning should get rid of this permanently.
Well, huge cloud of white smoke after regen on Saturday and check engine light keeps coming on. Looks like its time to start getting rid of a few components. That didnt last long :owned:
Yeah that's what SCT quoted me. The tuner has GH tunes for both the '11-12 & '13-14 6.7. I plan on getting another 6.7 in the future so I'll keep it for that. My friends got a minimaxx that he said I could use if I want.
