    Programmer question

A programmer and gauges are two entirely different things. A programmer can have gauges built into it, but it's main purpose is to load tunes onto the vehicle. Basically, you have a couple different options... You can go with a chip and set of analog gauges, or you can go with a programmer that...

    Fluctuating idle?

Could be numerous things. How many miles on this oil change? My first thoughts are either ICP sensor or IPR issue. Have you tried to pull codes and see if there is something stored?

Disconnect Batteries when pulling chip from PCM?

As long as the keys aren't in the ignition, that is all that matters. When keys are out of the ignition, the PCM has no power, same as when the batteries are disconnected.

Need help deciding size of injectors.

This is a good point, and one that is not mentioned much when people talk about how good their setup runs on the forums. With big nozzles, such as 200% plus, it is almost vital to get a live tune done to dial the injectors in. That big of a nozzle can be difficult to control, and may leave you...

    Live tuning / tuners

I have had a handful of guys contact me over the past few months in the NE who are wanting live tuning. I'll see if I can search back through my e-mails and round them up to put them in contact with you.

    Live tuning / tuners

If you get a group (10-12) guys together, Jody can come up. Or you can drive to him in GA. Unfortunately, those are the only couple of options for us. It isn't feasible for Jody to come up to live tune 1 truck. I am sure you understand. Not sure of any big name 7.3L tuners in that direct area...

    Injectors & tuning

No shots fired here. Just saying not to make it a requirement, because it cuts down your options drastically. I am sure you are referring to Swamps? Nothing against them at all. We tune for their injectors all the time.

    Garrett turbo question

True. That isn't really a rebuild kit though. At that point it is pretty much a new turbo LOL

    Garrett turbo question

Correct. Can't rebuild the 38R turbo, so you will not find a rebuild kit available for it.

    Injectors & tuning

Truest statement in all of forum-land. Most running that style of turbo have smoke, lag, and EGT issues. To the OP... While we do not build our own injectors, we have sold Full Force injectors for many years and offer the custom tuning for them. As long as the tunes are dialed in for the...

    Combo???

My thought as well. For towing 10k on the reg, I wouldn't jump into Hybrids personally. Run a set of 160/30's or you could even do a set of 180/80's with that turbo. Both of those injector choices go good with the 364.5sxe. That turbo has been a fantastic choice for a lot of people. We have sold...

    Egt gauge

Yes, I loved my Autometer Ford Factory Match gauges when I ran them. I now use the Infinity (nDash) exclusively though.

    Strange Starting Problem??

Okay. Do you have a scan tool you can connect to watch ICP while cranking? Should be able to do that with an app on your phone and the bluetooth dongle. If you are getting at least 500psi of ICP while cranking, you can pretty much rule out ICP being the problem. At that point, you can move on to...

    Egt gauge

If cost is an issue, just start out buying a quality EGT gauge only. Then when funds become available, get the other gauges you want. This is my personal choice for an EGT gauge...

    Strange Starting Problem??

That all sounds normal. No white smoke means no fuel. When this occurs, it usually means you have not hit enough ICP for the injectors to start firing. They need to see 500psi of ICP before they will begin to fire. It could also be countless other things that would disable them from firing...

    OBD to OBDll help

Yes, a 94.5 truck should be BEG. Mainly to have your OBDII port active and working so you can read/clear codes, monitor data, etc. But you do also get the benefit of an updated tune which has the fixes that Ford found after they initially released these trucks. Exactly.

    OBD to OBDll help

You should have both the OBDI port (normally under the hood) and the OBDII port (under dash closer to passenger side). We flash the PCM to a later code so the OBDII port is active and works like later model trucks. Yes, it changes the code. If someone sends us a PCM from a 94.5 manual, the...

    Strange Starting Problem??

When cranking and not starting is it smoking white out the exhaust? With that kind of mileage, I would suspect worn injectors.

    OBD to OBDll help

We can. We do it all the time. Just order a Stock flash from HERE and send the PCM to us.
