    Nobody has any input on this? I doubt Ford is going to release anything updated because they'd rather you buy a newer vehicle. I looked at Viper and Compstar systems. Compstar uses ATT 3G as well, but I haven't seen anything about them discontinuing service. I'm just not sure what all parts need...

    We've started old Detroits without ether near 10 degrees out colder. Some of the older CATs we have will start with no ether or a very little squirt. Those are static when it comes to fuel amounts and timing. Common rail can overcome that to a point.

    First thing I thought was axle U-joint, before I read you had suggested it. Ask him if it does it in 4x4. When he says "no," tell him to grease the axle U-joints. Best way is to grease them, run in 4x4 for a few miles, then grease them again.

    Odd question, but will coil springs from a 2019 F350 4WD physically fit in a 2001 F350 2WD? The 2001 broke a front spring and there's a set of the 19 springs for sale locally for cheap. I realize there will probably some alignment issues, but trying to get the truck able to be driven.

    You also have low range in the transfer case if needed. At 70mph you should be turning 2080rpms with 4.10s in 6th gear. With 3.73s, you should be 1890rpms. That's using the Garage Buddy App, 0.69 for 6th gear, and a 32 inch tall tire.

    Trailer Question

    Trailer brakes would not release? Most electric brakes need a signal (power) from the truck in order to apply. Did someone rewire the 2016 and the trailer? Or, you're missing the the plug for the breakaway switch.
